IQ, one of Intelligences that usual we hear is determined how smart a people in our society. Actually it’s just a test that measure the ability someone just in one side. There are many ways to know our ability. These theorems are about Multiple Intelligences. Body-Kinesthetic Intelligence, Logic Intelligence, Verbal Intelligence, Interpersonal Intelligence, Intrapersonal intelligence, Natural Intelligences, Visual Intelligence. And as the next generation of teacher, we must also know the Bloom Taxonomy.
Multiple Intelligences have strong correlation with Bloom Taxonomy. As teachers if we know this knowledge, it is will be more help us to handle class and control understanding of students. For example if our student has kinesthetic intelligences, so must include the activity that need movement. But we must to control that the understanding students. Here, we could use Bloom Taxonomy. We can control for the understanding, analysing, creating and evaluating by our activity.
From this session I got a reflection, as the next generation of teacher. Especially in SSE, we use ICT (Modern Technologies) like computer, projector and all of digital electronic tools. But, based on Bloom Taxonomy, we must think that in Indonesian we have so many cultur such traditional songs, games and traditional technology. And if we will teach in Indonesia, “don’t forget with ours”. Its not only about cultur but something in our environment. For example we have global warming problem, to prevent earth we must aware in around. Such use rubbish, reuse for our learning. So, we not hinge the modern Techonology, Games of Technology, Modern Songs. Use what we have and conserve its.
